جامعة السويس تحتفل باليوم العالمي لذوي الهمم

برعاية أ.د أشـــــــــرف حنيجــــــل رئيس جامعة السويس، نظمت الجامعة اليوم احتفالية كبرى باليوم العالمي لذوي الهمم بالتعاون مع مؤسسة حياة كريمة، بحضور د مروة فخرى_المدير التنفيذى لمؤسسة حياة كريمة، د بثينة مصطفى_ نائب رئيس مجلس الامناء والمتحدث الرسمي، السادة نواب رئيس الجامعة، وعمداء الكليات، العقيد عادل طاهر_مدير مكتب مؤسسة حياة كريمة بالسويس واعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعة، ولفيف من القيادات التنفيذية بالمؤسسة والمحافظة.
في رحاب قاعة المؤتمرات الكبرى بالجامعة ألقى أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس الجامعـــــة كلمة أعرب فيها عن سعادته وكافة منسوبي الجامعة لاستضافة هذه المناسبة الهامة التي تبرز الجهود المستمرة لدعم وتمكين ذوي الهمم في مجتمعنا، الذي يعد من المجتمعات ذات الريادة في العناية والاهتمام بذوي الهمم.
وأشار رئيس الجامعة الى أن تعتبر جامعة السويس مؤسسة رائدة في تقديم الرعاية والدعم للطلاب ذوي الهمم. حيث الالتزام بتوفير بيئة تعليمية شاملة تمكن الجميع من تحقيق إمكانياتهم الكاملة.
مشيدا بافتتاح مركز رعاية الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة بجامعة السويس منذ أسابيع قليلة بحضور معالي الوزير الأستاذ الدكتور محمد أيمن عاشور وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي.
وأوضح “حنيجــــــــــل” أن الاهتمام غير المسبوق بذوي الهمم في مصر يأتي من الرؤية والاهتمام الشخصي لفخامة السيد الرئيس/ عبد الفتاح السيسي بهذه الفئة من أبناء الوطن. حيث أيمان فخامة الرئيس بأهمية تمكين ذوي الهمم وتوفير فرص متساوية لهم، وهذا ما ينعكس في السياسات والبرامج التي تنفذها الدولة المصرية لدعمهم.
وأكد رئيس الجامعة أننا اليوم هنا ليس للاحتفال فقط باليوم العالمي لذوي الهمم، بل للتأكيد أيضًا على التقدير العميق لما تقوم به الدولة المصرية من جهود وإجراءات لدعم ذوي الهمم. حيث سن القوانين وتأكيد السياسات التي تم تبنيها لتعكس التزام مصر بحقوق ذوي الهمم وضرورة دمجهم في كافة جوانب الحياة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية.
وأشار رئيس جامعة السويس إلى فكرة الإيمان بأن ذوي الهمم يمتلكون قدرات ومواهب فريدة يمكن أن تثمر عن إبداعات مذهلة إذا حظيت بالاهتمام والرعاية اللازمة، لذا فلابد من العمل على توفير البيئة الداعمة، والتحفيز المستمر الذي يساعد في إبراز هذه القدرات وتقديم الفرصة لذوي الهمم للإسهام بفعالية في تطوير المجتمع.
وألقى “حنيجــــــــــل” الضوء على جهود الدولة المصرية التي قامت بتنظيم العديد من الفعاليات، ووضع العديد من القوانين التي تفيد بلا شك أبنائنا من ذوي الهمم، مثل القانون رقم 10 لسنة 2018 الذي يوفر حماية شاملة لحقوق ذوي الهمم، إضافةً إلى العديد من المبادرات الوطنية التي تهدف إلى دمجهم في المجتمع وتوفير الفرص التعليمية والمهنية لهم.
ثم دعى رئيس الجامعة جميع الحضور إلى أن يكونوا جزءاً من هذا الجهد الوطني العظيم. لتعزيز الوعي وتقديم الدعم لذوي الهمم، باعتبار أن هذا ليس واجباً فقط، بل هو فرصة لنؤكد على القيم الإنسانية العليا ونبني مجتمعاً أكثر شمولية وإنسانية.
وكان العقيد عادل طاهر_مدير مكتب مؤسسة حياة كريمة بالسويس قد ألقى كلمة رحب فيها بالحضور موجها الشكر لجامعة السويس وادارتها لما يتم من أوجه تعاون مستمر في مختلف القطاعات لاسيما تنظيم القوافل الطبية والأنشطة المجتمعية التي تقوم بها الجامعة بالتعاون مع المؤسسة.
وقد تضمن الحفل مجموعة متميزة من الفقرات الفنية، حيث قدمت مدرسة الصم فقرة مصرية، أعقبها كورال المكفوفين، من مدرسة النور، كما تضمن الحفل عزف بيانو لأحد طلاب جامعة السويس، كما قدمت مركز الصفاء لذوي الهمم عرض الليلة الكبيرة وسط اعجاب وتفاعل الحضور، ليؤكد مدى ما يتمتع به أبنائنا من امكانات وقدرات تحتاج فقط للرعاية.
وفي ختام الحفل تم تكريم عدد من الشخصيات وتسليم الكراسي المتحركة لعدد من أبنائنا من ذوي الهمم
Suez University Celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities
President of Suez University: I invite everyone to be part of this great national effort to raise awareness and provide support for persons with disabilities.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, the university hosted a grand celebration today for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in collaboration with the “Decent Life” Foundation. The event was attended by Dr. Marwa Fakhry, Executive Director of the “Decent Life” Foundation; Dr. Buthaina Mostafa, Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and Spokesperson; university vice presidents; deans of faculties; Colonel Adel Taher, Director of the “Decent Life” Office in Suez; faculty members; and a host of executive leaders from the foundation and the governorate.
In the Great Conference Hall of the university, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal delivered a speech expressing his joy and that of the entire university community for hosting this important event. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to support and empower persons with disabilities, emphasizing Egypt’s leadership in caring for this vital segment of society.
Dr. Heniegal noted that Suez University is a pioneering institution in providing care and support for students with disabilities, committed to fostering an inclusive educational environment where everyone can realize their full potential.
He also commended the recent inauguration of the Disability Support Center at Suez University, an event graced by the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Dr. Heniegal emphasized the unprecedented attention given to persons with disabilities in Egypt, driven by the vision and personal commitment of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The President’s belief in empowering persons with disabilities and ensuring equal opportunities for them is evident in the state’s policies and programs aimed at their support.
He stressed that the celebration today is not just about marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities but also about reaffirming deep appreciation for Egypt’s efforts and initiatives to support them. These include enacting laws, such as Law No. 10 of 2018, which provides comprehensive protection for the rights of persons with disabilities, and launching numerous national initiatives aimed at integrating them into society and offering educational and professional opportunities.
Dr. Heniegal highlighted the belief that persons with disabilities possess unique abilities and talents that, with proper attention and care, can lead to remarkable achievements. He called for creating a supportive environment and continuous encouragement to help unleash these talents and enable persons with disabilities to contribute effectively to societal development.
He also shed light on the Egyptian state’s extensive efforts in organizing events and passing laws that benefit persons with disabilities, along with initiatives aimed at fostering inclusion in social and economic life.
Dr. Heniegal concluded his speech by inviting all attendees to join this great national effort to raise awareness and provide support for persons with disabilities. He emphasized that this is not just a duty but also an opportunity to affirm higher human values and build a more inclusive and compassionate society.
Colonel Adel Taher, Director of the “Decent Life” Office in Suez, also delivered a speech thanking Suez University for its ongoing collaboration across various sectors, especially in organizing medical convoys and community activities.
The event featured an outstanding array of artistic performances. The School for the Deaf presented an Egyptian segment, followed by a choir of blind students from Al-Noor School. The event also included a piano performance by a student from Suez University. Al-Safaa Center for Persons with Disabilities presented the show “The Big Night,” which was met with admiration and interaction from the audience, demonstrating the capabilities and talents our children possess that simply need nurturing.
At the conclusion of the event, several individuals were honored, and wheelchairs were distributed to some of our children with disabilities.
