رئيس جامعة السويس يشهد حفل ختام النسخة الأولى من مبادرة “تمكين”

برعاية فخامة السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي رئيس الجمهورية، وبحضور معالي أ.د. محمد أيمن عاشور وزير التعليم العالى والبحث العلمى شهد أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس فعاليات ختام مبادرة تمكين لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بالجامعات المصرية، وذلك في رحاب جامعة الأقصر بمشاركة حوالي ٥٦٢ طالب من ذوي الهمم من مختلف الجامعات المصرية، وبحضور السادة رؤساء الجامعات المصرية وأعضاء المجلس الأعلى للجامعات.
وقد صرح أ.د. رئيس جامعة السويس أن هذه المبادرة تأتي للتوعية بحقوق وواجبات الطلاب ذوي الهمم داخل الجامعات المصرية، وتوفير فرص متكافئة لهم، في إطار توجيهات القيادة السياسية وخطة وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي لدمج الطلاب ذوي الهمم في المجتمع.
وأشار “حنيجــــــــــل” الى أنه قد سبق منذ اسابيع افتتاح مركز الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة بجامعة السويس بحضور معالي أ.د. وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي والذي تم انشاؤه بالتعاون مع هيئة الاميديست بهدف بناء كيان مخصص لتقديم خدمات منظمة لأبنائنا الطلاب من ذوي الهمم، وتوفير دعم لوجستي لهم وكافة العاملين بالجامعة لايضاح الوسيلة المثلى للتعامل مع أبنائنا من ذوي الهمم.
وأوضح “رئيس جامعة السويس” أن العناية بالطلاب ذوي الهمم في الجامعات المصرية أمرًا بالغ الأهمية لعدة أسباب. منها المساهمة في تحقيق مبدأ العدالة وتكافؤ الفرص، حيث تُمكّن هؤلاء الطلاب من الحصول على التعليم الجامعي بجودة عالية دون أي تمييز.
كما أشار سيادته الى جهد الجامعة لتوفر البيئة الداعمة والموارد اللازمة لتحقيق إمكاناتهم الأكاديمية والشخصية، مما يُسهم في بناء مجتمع أكاديمي متنوع وشامل. هذا فضلا عن تعزز العناية بالطلاب ذوي الهمم من الشعور بالانتماء والاندماج الاجتماعي، وتشجع على قبول التنوع والاحترام المتبادل بين جميع الطلاب. بالإضافة الى تأهيل هؤلاء الطلاب لسوق العمل من خلال تقديم برامج تدريبية متخصصة ودعم مهاراتهم، مما يعزز من فرص توظيفهم واستقلاليتهم المهنية.
University President Attends Closing Ceremony of the First Edition of the “Empowerment” Initiative

Under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, attended the closing event of the “Empowerment” Initiative for students with disabilities at Egyptian universities. The event took place at Luxor University and included the participation of approximately 562 students with disabilities from various Egyptian universities, along with the presence of university presidents and members of the Supreme Council of Universities.
Prof. Dr. Heniegal, President of Suez University, stated that this initiative aims to raise awareness of the rights and responsibilities of students with disabilities within Egyptian universities and to provide them with equal opportunities in line with the directives of political leadership and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s plan to integrate students with disabilities into society.
He further mentioned that, several weeks ago, the Disability Center for students was inaugurated at Suez University, with the attendance of Prof. Dr. Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This center was established in collaboration with the AMIDEAST organization to create a dedicated facility offering structured services for students with disabilities, providing logistical support and guidance for university staff on the best ways to interact with students with disabilities.
The President of Suez University emphasized that supporting students with disabilities in Egyptian universities is of paramount importance for several reasons. Among these is the contribution to achieving the principle of justice and equal opportunities, allowing these students to access high-quality higher education without discrimination.
He also highlighted the university’s efforts to provide a supportive environment and the necessary resources to help these students realize their academic and personal potential, contributing to the development of a diverse and inclusive academic community. Additionally, supporting students with disabilities enhances their sense of belonging and social integration, fostering acceptance of diversity and mutual respect among all students. Moreover, this initiative prepares students for the labor market by offering specialized training programs and skill development, which enhances their employment opportunities and professional independence.
