رئيس جامعة السويس يستقبل وزير الخارجية الأسبق السفير محمد عرابي

استقبل أ.د. أشــــرف حنيجــــل، رئيس جامعة السويس بمكتبه صباح اليوم، معالي وزير الخارجية الأسبق السفير محمد عبد الحي العرابي”، في مستهل زيارته لكلية السياسة والاقتصاد بالجامعة، بحضور أ.د. جمال سلامة عميد كلية السياسة والاقتصاد السابق، أ.د. نيبال عز الدين عميد الكلية، وذلك على هامش مشاركة سيادته ضمن لجنة المناقشة والحكم على رسالة ماجستير في العلوم السياسية بالكلية.
وقد رحّب أ.د. رئيس الجامعة بالضيف الكريم، مستعرضًا معه أبرز البرامج الأكاديمية التي تقدمها جامعة السويس، ومراحل تطورها المتسارعة، مؤكدًا أن الجامعة – رغم حداثة نشأتها – تُعد من الجامعات الواعدة بما تملك من تخصصات فريدة وغير نمطية، صممت خصيصًا لخدمة سوق العمل.
كما أشار “حنيجــل” إلى صدور القرار الجمهوري بإنشاء “جامعة السويس الأهلية”، التي ستُسهم بدور مهم في خدمة سائر أبناء محافظات الجمهورية، موضحًا أن الجامعة الأهلية قد وضعت في حسبانها تقديم عدد من البرامج الأكاديمية التي وضعت لتواكب التطور السرؤيع في سوق العمل محليا ودوليًا.
ومن جانبه فقد أعرب الوزير “محمد العرابي” عن سعادته البالغة بوجوده في جامعة السويس، وفي كلية السياسة والاقتصاد مشيدًا بالإنجازات التي تحققت تحت قيادة رئيس الجامعة، لاسيما في القطاع الطبي، وما يتضمنه من مستشفى جامعي يخدم محافظة السويس ومحافظات مدن القناة.
كما عبّر عن استعداد سيادته التام للمشاركة في ندوة تثقيفية عامة شاملة لجميع طلاب الجامعة مع بداية العام الدراسي الجديد، مُوجّهًا الشكر لمعالي رئيس الجامعة على حفاوة الاستقبال، وحسن الضيافة.
ومن جانبه فقد صرح أ.د. جمال سلامة عميد كلية السياسة والاقتصاد المؤسس، بإن حضور السفير محمد العرابي في كلية السياسة والاقتصاد بجامعة السويس يشكّل إضافة نوعية للأنشطة الأكاديمية بالكلية، لما يتمتع به سيادته من خبرات دبلوماسية واسعة ورؤية تحليلية رصينة تعزز من إدراك الطلاب لطبيعة التفاعلات الدولية. وتأتي مشاركته في مناقشة رسالة الماجستير تأكيدًا على تلاقي العمل الأكاديمي مع الخبرة العملية بما يخدم أهداف التعليم السياسي المتخصص.
كما أشارت ا.د. نيبال عز الدين إلى أن حرص كلية السياسة والاقتصاد على ترسيخ جسور التواصل بين الطلبة والنخب الفكرية والدبلوماسية، ويسعدنا استقبال معالي السفير محمد العرابي في هذه المناسبة العلمية، والتي نعتبرها فرصة ملهمة لطلبتنا، تعكس اهتمام الكلية بتنوع مصادر المعرفة وتعزيز الانفتاح على التجارب الواقعية في حقل العلوم السياسية.
جدير بالذكر فإن وزير الخارجية الأسبق محمد العرابي يُعد أحد الشخصيات البارزة في الأوساط الأكاديمية والدبلوماسية، حيث يمثل مصر بكفاءة في العديد من المحافل العلمية والسياسية الدولية.
President of Suez University Receives Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Mohamed Orabi

This morning, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, welcomed His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Abdel-Hay Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, at his office. The visit marks the beginning of the ambassador’s engagement with the Faculty of Politics and Economics, In the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Salama, former Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics, and Prof. Dr. Nebal Ezz El-Din, the current Dean of the Faculty. where he is participating as a member of the examination and evaluation committee for a master’s thesis in political science.
Prof. Dr. Heniegal extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guest and presented an overview of the university’s most prominent academic programs and its rapid developmental progress. He affirmed that, despite its recent establishment, Suez University is considered a promising institution thanks to its unique and non-traditional specializations tailored to meet the needs of the labor market.
He also highlighted the recent issuance of a presidential decree establishing Suez National University, which will play a vital role in serving students across Egypt’s governorates. He explained that the national university is set to offer a variety of academic programs designed to keep pace with the rapid changes in both local and international job markets.
For his part, Ambassador Mohamed Orabi expressed great pleasure at visiting Suez University and its Faculty of Politics and Economics. He praised the achievements realized under the leadership of the university president, particularly in the medical sector, including the university hospital that serves the Suez Governorate and the Canal Cities.
He also conveyed his full readiness to participate in a comprehensive public seminar for all university students at the start of the upcoming academic year. Ambassador Orabi extended his thanks to the university president for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality.
Prof. Dr. Gamal Salama, the founding Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics, stated that Ambassador Mohamed Al-Orabi’s presence at the Faculty of Politics and Economics at Suez University represents a valuable addition to the college’s academic activities, owing to his extensive diplomatic experience and well-grounded analytical insight that enhances students’ understanding of the nature of international interactions. His participation in the master’s thesis discussion affirms the convergence between academic work and practical expertise, serving the goals of specialized political education.
Prof. Dr. Nibal Ezz El-Din also noted the faculty’s commitment to fostering bridges of communication between students and intellectual and diplomatic elites.
